Today I am choosing to quote directly from a note sent to me from a current Acton parent in answer to the question:  What reassurance (or question) do you wish someone had offered you when you arrived at Acton Academy?

#4.  Be patient and trust your intuition.   Remember:  You chose this path for your child and your family for a reason. You may (and should) have questions and sometimes even doubts along the way; however, be sure to give your child all the time he or she needs to develop independence and self motivation at their own pace.  It is so worth the wait.

This is just a taste of what awaits us tomorrow when we are together.
