Thanks to the gifted and talented filmmaker, Amanda Horvath, we are in the final stages of editing a series of short videos to answer the big, burning questions parents have about learning at Acton Academy.

Our Eagles are the experts in understanding the purpose of the processes, systems and standards in place at Acton.

Amanda sat with willing Eagles and asked this simple question:

What do you wish your parents knew about _________ (fill in the blank: badges, Eagle Bucks, 360 reviews, quests and exhibitions)?

She then ran the camera.

I’ll cut to the chase. Through the complexity of details, our children wish we knew these facts:

• They are working really hard.

• They are making progress. 

Learning takes time. Our children yearn for us to be brave enough to trust them and give them time. Shall we?
