Word #76. Fire.

Like moths to a flame, we are drawn to groups of people who are on fire with a purpose and set of beliefs that match our own.

When we find such a group, our inner spark ignites and we feel energized with the connection to likeminded people – even if our backgrounds are definitively diverse.

I believe this is the reason Acton Academy has spread across the globe in communities as different as Oklahoma City is to Lahore, Pakistan. It has nothing to do with me or Jeff or our fabulous guides. It is because of our grounding belief that each child is a genius who deserves to find a calling and change the world. This belief lights us on fire, gives us purpose and binds us together at the heart.
