Word #92. Work.
There is nothing quite like being in a group of individuals who are on a mission, working hard and supporting each other as needed. The energy of one person ignites the energy of another. Soon a lasting work ethic sprouts and grows within each individual’s heart.
Work is a gift when it has meaning and progress is made toward a goal. Soon you realize hard work opens doors. You know you can roll your sleeves up and make things happen. You don’t need to wait around for someone else to do it for you.
This is satisfaction. This is power. This is a hero’s mentality versus a victim’s mentality. And this is how you make dreams come true.
“Hard work is a prison sentence only if it does not have meaning. Once it does, it becomes the kind of thing that makes you grab your wife around the waist and dance a jig.” – Malcolm Gladwell
